We are incredibly excited to announce the signing of decorated South Australian batter Brad Davis.

Brad joins us from powerhouse Adelaide Premier Cricket club, Sturt, where he has built one of the great modern club cricket careers.

After making his Sturt First Grade debut back in 2007–08, Brad went on to captain the club and establish himself as one of the competition’s premier run scorers across nearly two decades at the top level.
Brad also represented South Australia at First Class level, playing five Sheffield Shield matches after earning a state contract for the 2020–21 season.

Career Stats:
🏏 17,921 Runs
πŸ’― 45 Centuries
πŸ”₯ 91 Half Centuries
πŸ“ˆ Average of 42.37
⭐ Highest Score of 175

His decorated Premier Cricket career includes:
πŸ… 2 x Bradman Medals (2020–21 & 2024–25)
πŸ… First father-son duo to win the Bradman Medal
🏏 Sturt’s all-time leading run scorer
🏏 Sturt’s all-time games record holder

In 2025–26, Brad broke a club games record that had stood since 1942.

Brad, and his partner, Allana have relocated to Albury-Wodonga in recent months and we are delighted to have them apart of the SPCC Family.

πŸ’š Vale Josh Power πŸ’š

It is with broken hearts that St Patrick’s Cricket Club shares the passing of our much loved, Josh Power.

Josh played 104 games for SPCC, scoring 1,279 runs with a highest score of 83. More than the numbers, Joshy will be remembered for the smile, spirit and mateship he brought to our club every time he stepped onto the field.

One of his most memorable moments came in the 2021 Grand Final. With the team in trouble, Josh produced a quick-fire 26 runs to give us a chance heading into the second innings, before going on to take the final wicket to secure the premiership …a moment that will live with our club forever.

At just 19 years of age, Josh was taken far too soon.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his parents Simon and Jenny and his siblings Abigail, Isabella and Kobe during this incredibly difficult time.

A service to celebrate Josh’s life will be held at Howlong Football Ground on Wednesday, May 6 at 11:00am, followed by a burial at Howlong Cemetery and a return to the oval.

Rest easy, Joshy Power.
Forever part of the SPCC family.
