We're incredibly grateful to have been successful in receiving funding that will help us continue improving our club and the opportunities we provide for players, volunteers and families.

Community grants like this make a real difference to grassroots sport. They allow clubs like ours to invest in facilities, equipment and initiatives that benefit current members while ensuring we continue to grow and provide a welcoming environment for future generations.

🏏 2026/27 T20 Coach Announcement 🏏

We are thrilled to announce Blake Nikolic as our T20 Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Blake is coming off a fantastic season, scoring 564 A Grade runs at an average of 31.33 and consistently leading from the front with the bat.

A true competitor with a cool head under pressure, Blake's leadership, cricket knowledge, and positive attitude make him the perfect fit to lead our T20 program. We're excited to see what he can bring to the role as we chase success in the shortest format of the game.

✍️ INTERNATIONAL SIGNING | FREDDIE GILLETT 💙

We are thrilled to welcome Freddie Gillett to Albury Cricket Club for the 2026/27 season.

Freddie joins us from the United Kingdom, where he captains the Hampshire Academy and has gained valuable experience over the past two seasons playing County Second XI cricket against some of England's best young talent.

A talented top-order batter and genuine quick bowler, Freddie has already shown what he's capable of at a high level, highlighted by a superb 97 against Surrey 2s last season.

This will be Freddie's first season in Australia, and we're excited to see the impact he'll make both on and off the field. His talent, professionalism and enthusiasm will be a fantastic addition to our club.

🏏 2026/27 Bowling Coach Announcement 🏏

We are excited to announce that Chanaka Ranaweera will take on the role of Bowling Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Chanaka made an immediate impact in his first season with us, claiming 35 wickets to win our A Grade Bowling Award while finishing 4th in the competition's wicket tally.

His experience, skill, and passion for the game make him the perfect person to help develop our bowling group, and we're excited to have him sharing his knowledge with our players this season.
