Welcome back, Dylan Campbell!

After spending last season with Skye Cricket Club in Melbourne, Dylan has committed to returning to the Blue Army for the 2026/27 season.

We’re excited to have Dylan back in ACC colours and look forward to seeing him back out at Billson Park this summer.

🔵 COREY MCCARTHY APPOINTED ASSISTANT COACH | 2026/27 🔵

We are excited to announce the appointment of Corey McCarthy as our Assistant Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Corey has been a valued member of our senior playing group for a number of years and will return to Billson Park this season after spending the past two years in the UK with Cheshire club, Alvanley Cricket Club.

During his time overseas, Corey has continued to develop his game and establish himself as a key performer, currently averaging an impressive 40 with the bat and 22 with the ball. His experience, knowledge and leadership will be a fantastic addition to our coaching group as we continue building towards a successful season.

Corey knows our club, our players and our culture exceptionally well, making him a natural fit for the role. We are looking forward to welcoming him back home and seeing the impact he can have both on and off the field.

We are pleased to officially announce the Executive & General Committee for the upcoming 2026/27 cricket season.

🔵 SPECIAL CLUB AWARDS 🔵

To round out our 2025/26 season presentations, we also recognised our Club Award winners.

A huge congratulations to Dom Stockdale was our Jon Van Ree Club Person of the Year. Dom has worn plenty of hats across the season and has been a massive part of keeping the club running smoothly, both on and off the field.

The Young Buck Award went to Liam Edis, capping off an outstanding season after also collecting multiple honours in the Under 16s and B Grade. A terrific reward for a young player with a bright future ahead.

Noah Andrews took home the Coaches Award after establishing himself in A Grade this summer and making a strong contribution around the group at training and on game day.

And our Club Champion for 2025/26 was Ross Dixon, following a strong season in A Grade and a consistent year across the summer.

🔵 A Grade Award Winners 🔵

Another solid year for the A Grade with their 6th finals appearance in the last 7 seasons.

A big congratulations to Cooper Henderson on taking out the Captain’s Award, a reflection of another solid season for the young player which included featuring at the State under 17 championships. Cooper is only getting started with big things to come next season.

The Batting Award went to Blake Nikolic for the second year in a row, who put together an outstanding season at the crease, with Dom Stockdale and Ross Dixon also finishing right in the mix after strong years with the bat.

The Bowling Award was claimed by Chanaka Ranaweera after a superb debut season, while Nishan Weerakkody and Louis Botes were also rewarded for the impact they made with the ball.

The club’s Grade Champion was Ross Dixon who picked up the award for the 4th time, capping off an excellent all-round season, with Louis Botes and Shehan Hirudhika also recognised for their consistency and influence across the year.

There were some brilliant individual highlights along the way too, including Shehan’s century, some outstanding bowling spells.

Shehan took 33 dismissals behind the stumps which was the most of anyone in the association for the regular season and Dom Stockdale reaching 3,000 career A Grade runs.

🔵 B & C Grade Awards 🔵

What a season from our B and C Grade sides 👏

B Grade put together a strong year and finished in the finals, with Under 16 gun Liam Edis leading the way, taking home both the Bowling Award and Champion Player. Massive effort, Liam 👏

C Grade may have just missed the finals, but there was still plenty to celebrate, including some outstanding performances from our younger players. Reggie Griffiths claimed the Bowling Award, while JJ Whiting won the Batting Award. Well deserved, boys 👏

There were plenty of other terrific individual performances across both grades during the season, showing the talent, effort and future strength of our club.

Our junior sides had an outstanding year, capped off with 3 Grand Final appearances and a premiership win in Under 12 Div 1 💙🔥

We wrapped it up at our junior presentation last Sunday, celebrating the effort, improvement and commitment of our young players. Huge congratulations to all of our award winners — legends of the future 👏👏

With so much talent coming through, the future of our junior program is bright 🌟
