The Aldinga Football Club is one of South Australia's oldest football clubs with a proud and strong history. In 1879 Aldinga was one of four teams that founded what is now known as the Southern Football League. After a shaky first couple of decades, Aldinga soon found it's feet and went on to become the SFL's most successful side, winning 7 Premierships in 8 years in the late 1920's to early 30's,

🖤💛 We just love our Gummy’s and Auskick kids! 💛🖤

We wrapped up Term 2 this week and we would like to thank all our families and children attending our sessions.

Thank you Jenni Mitton MP and Coles Aldinga Beach for attending our Auskick Presentation.

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who ran our sessions and players who also assisted our kids.

Look out for our next Gummy and Auskick sessions later this year on our socials.

Hello Shark Family,

We are at the halfway mark of the season, and a big well done to all of our teams & volunteers.

Reaching out after the weekend to remind all of our members and supporters of our Fair Play Rules and our Code of Conduct.

Please refrain from approaching umpires at any time – NON-NEGOTIABLE.

If you feel the need to raise your voice and abuse volunteers or umpires, you will be asked to leave the ground immediately.

There is zero tolerance for abuse at AFC and, moving forward, the Committee and Footy Department will have no hesitation in removing you from our ground to keep our volunteers and players in a safe environment.

If you have something to report, raise it through the correct channels and our complaints policy.

Reminder – If you are bringing your dog to the ground, please keep it on a leash.

I would prefer that you leave your fur baby at home whilst games are being played; however, I understand we are a green space.

Please keep your dogs to your vehicle and do not bring them to the clubrooms/canteen.

We appreciate your understanding here, but after a dog bite on the weekend during game play, we have no choice but to request this.

The second half of the season brings excitement and planning for finals – good luck to all.

Cheers,
Jo
AFC President
