Our NT Buffaloes Little League team is officially on the plane and on their way to the 2026 Australian Little League Championships at Blacktown International Sportspark.

After months of preparation, training, and support from families, coaches and the wider baseball community, our young Buffs are ready to represent the Territory on the national stage.

Tomorrow, the team will hit the field for their official training day before kicking off their tournament campaign on Wednesday with a massive opening day double-header:

The Demons came out firing to take Game 1.
The Cubs hit back hard to claim Game 2.

Now, with the series locked at 1–1, everything is on the line. One game. One winner. One champion.

Expect intensity, big moments, and clutch plays as both teams leave it all out on the diamond in the ultimate decider.

🐻 Cubs 9 def Demons 6

With their season on the line, the Cubs responded — and they did it the hard way.

After dropping Game 1, the Cubs needed a performance. What they got was a statement.

Ethan Scobie led the charge, putting together a perfect night at the plate — 4 hits from 4 at-bats, setting the tone early and never letting the pressure drop.

The Cubs struck first through Anthony Geppa, who would go on to deliver one of the biggest performances of the series. His 4 RBIs, including multiple clutch hits, proved the difference in a game where momentum swung hard both ways.

The Demons weren’t going anywhere.

They flipped the game in the third, with Jett Hansen and Wes Tohi driving in runs to take a 4–3 lead and briefly put one hand on the trophy.

But the Cubs answered like contenders.

A four-run fifth inning — sparked again by Scobie and Geppa, with support from Justin Frost — saw the Cubs reclaim control at 7–4, and this time they didn’t let it slip.

On the mound, Frost battled through seven innings, striking out 12, while navigating constant traffic and a Demons lineup that refused to go quietly.

To their credit, the Demons kept swinging.
Wes Tohi led the way with 3 hits and 2 RBIs, while Nathan Mitchell and Craig Murray added multiple hits as they pushed late.

But the Cubs had just enough.
More hits. More answers. More ex*****on when it mattered.
