We're back for another big Saturday of hockey, and it looks like winter has finally decided to make an appearance in the Red Centre! ❄️🏑

We are expecting a partly cloudy afternoon with a top of 17°C. It might be time to dust off those Winter jackets, especially if you are spectating the 6pm game, but the action on the field might just be enough to keep everyone warm! ☀️🙌

The school holiday break starts after this round, so whether you're chasing points, goals or just a good day at the hockey, let's make Round 7 one to remember! ☀️🏑

We're officially halfway through the 2026 season, and the race for finals spots is well and truly on! 🔥🏑

🔵 Open Competition
Federal Hockey Club continue their dominant run, sitting undefeated on top of the ladder with a perfect 6 from 6 and a whopping +31 goal difference! 💪
Redbacks Men are keeping the pressure on in second, while Centrals and Desert Sharks are battling hard for every point.

🔴 Women's Competition
Redbacks Hockey Club are setting the pace, still unbeaten after six rounds with 5 wins and a draw! 👏
Eagles are firmly in the hunt in second, while Desert Sharks and Centrals will be looking to make their move in the second half of the season.

Plenty of hockey still to come, and with every point counting, expect some huge clashes after the long weekend! 🍿🏑
