Well unfortunately, the weather gods took the victory yesterday at the final round of the Eastern Series at Drouin Speedway.
As we were sitting on the grid waiting to go out for our first heat, the skies opened up and the remainder of the day was cancelled. Cooper was able to get a heat race in, but we never made it on track.
Not the result we wanted, but still a great day being close to home and racing with all of our friends and family.
Onto Darlington next weekend😎

Last weekend seen us run the Gary Bowden Cup accross two nites of racing at Rosedale and Bairnsdale Speedways.
Great two nites of racing against a smaller than usual, but very competitive field.
Nite 1- Rosedale
H1- 🟢 3rd 🏁 3rd
H2- 🟢7th 🏁 3rd
Dash- 4th to 3rd
A-Main- 🟢3rd 🏁 4th

Nite 2- Bairnsdale
H1- 🟢 8th 🏁 8th
H2- 🟢3rd 🏁 3rd
Dash- 6th to 3rd

Was great to finally get a podium finish, been a long time trying and makes the tough nites worth while.

Vic Title done and dusted 💨💨💨
Saturday nite seen us run the Victorian AWSR Wingless Sprints Title at Premier Speedway, Warrnambool.
Over 50 cars on hand, all of them the best of the best.
Our first heat seen is loose 3 spots which really hurt our points, just missed the set up and couldn’t put together a smooth consistent lap.
Sorted the car out (and the driver) for the second heat, got going but with points at a premium that put us out of 8th in the B main. Really got going well in that, got up to as far as 4th (top 3 transfer) but just couldn’t hold it with good cars around me, finished 6th.
All in all we are happy we had a good car in the end, just wish we got it rite from the start of the nite!!

Biggest race of our season this weekend coming in hot, it’s our Victorian Wingless Sprint Title at Premier Speedway, Warrnambool.

Little bit late on our race post this week but here she is!!
Both Coops and myself raced Nyora last Saturday nite. Coops had a great nite picking up all 3 Heat wins and his first A-Main win. Super pumped and proud of him to do it on a special nite.
Our nite was mixed in the heats, going forward in our first but loosing a couple in the second, put us out of 14 in the A-Main. Got the old girl wound up and brought her home 5th which we were pumped with.
After the race we had a special gathering on track. Dads wishes was to have some of his ashes spread on track at Nyora. Was a last minute thing but thank you to everyone that came down, stayed and celebrated with us having a couple of beers. Also thank you to Trish, Marcus and everyone at Nyora for making it happen.
Next up for us is the Vic Title at Warrnambool on the 28th….! Am so a bit excited😜😎✌🏼🍻🏁
