With Stars of Ballina Dance for Cancer happening this Saturday, our Ballina RSL crew is proudly sporting their Team Scotty shirts and getting behind our very own Scott Redford for one final push before he hits the dance floor!

A huge shoutout to the wonderful Deb & Sam from Wallace & Co. Ballina who generously donated the Team Scotty shirts you’ll see our crew wearing around the Club. Thank you for helping us show our support for Scotty in style!

We’ve loved cheering Scotty on throughout this journey as he’s danced, fundraised and rallied our community in support of Cancer Council NSW. With the big night now just days away, there’s still time to help Team Scotty finish on a high!

For many of our team, the most important role they’ll ever have isn’t the one written on their name badge.

It’s being Dad. 💙

It’s the early mornings, the school runs, the sideline cheering, the life lessons, the terrible jokes, the quiet encouragement and simply being there - again and again.

Today we’re celebrating some of the dads in our Ballina RSL family with the people who know them in that role best.

To every dad, stepdad, grandad and father figure in our team, our membership and our community - we hope today reminds you just how much those everyday moments matter, and how deeply you are loved.

Our friends at Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital need the community’s support, and there are some incredible prizes and experiences up for grabs along the way.

Their Save Our Wildlife Hospital Online Auction is now live, featuring a fantastic collection of items generously donated by local artists, businesses and supporters, including artwork, dining experiences, stays and plenty more.

Every winning bid helps Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital continue providing lifesaving veterinary care to sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife, completely free of charge.

As a 100% community-owned wildlife hospital, they rely on the generosity of our Northern Rivers community to keep their doors open and their veterinary team caring for wildlife in need.

☀️ Sustainability Update

Since installing 188 additional solar panels in June 2025, Ballina RSL has prevented an estimated 63 tonnes of carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere.

That's more than a year of cleaner, renewable energy helping reduce our environmental footprint while supporting a more sustainable future for our Club and community. 🌱💙
