Your body might not need another workout. It might need rest. 🌙
Yin Yoga is a slower, more meditative practice that blends the wisdom of traditional yoga with Taoist principles, inviting you to slow down, soften, and spend time in stillness.
Through long-held postures, Yin targets the body’s deeper connective tissues while creating space for something many of us need more of, pause.
These wall-supported shapes from last week’s Tuesday night practice are a reminder that self-care doesn’t always have to look like doing more. Sometimes it looks like listening. Breathing. Letting go.
In Chinese philosophy, yin energy is associated with stillness, receptivity, and restoration. Qualities that can be difficult to access in a world that often rewards constant movement and productivity.
What changes when you give yourself permission to slow down?
