A fantastic day on the range today.
Today we hosted 30 people from Tassal who wanted to try their hands at clay target shooting. Some fantastic shooting by many today! The sledges were flowing and the trash talk was speaking! Big thanks to crawf, roger, Barry, Noel and John for helping make the day run smoothly. Safe to say everyone had a ball!

Fantastic day to be shooting clays here in the valley today! Weather was 👌 after the fresh start! Big thanks to the Boyer papermill for sponsoring this months shoot!

AA/Overall highgun- micky Blackwell on a fantastic 87/100 followed closely by Wratto on 86/100

A- Jason McSherry brought home the bacon with a whopping 77/100 putting his Bl**er to good use! With Clarky closely on his tail on 74/100

B- Bec McSherry could let Jason have all the fun today taking B grade out with a fantastic score of 69/100 just pipping Barry Bone & Roger Manton at the post both on 66/100

C- well those at presentations know how this one ended up especially after some friendly controversy! Ben Thompson took home the win with a great score of 68/100! Fair to say he won’t need to be called a poacher for much longer shooting scores like that! And behind Ben came koenrad Goossens with a 51/100.

Well done to all winners of the day.
Micky B and Crawf almost walked home with a 25 break badge each after both shooting a 24 in one round - better luck next time lads!

Thanks to the crew who set up and also to those that stayed back and helped pack up!

Next Sunday will be sporting practice day
See you all there!

Did you know that Derwent Valley is a Ticket to Wellbeing affiliated club?

Some tricky and deceitful targets on display that brought a few unstuck aswell as a few forgetting that it’s all pairs 🤣
