The Moreton Bay Academy is in full effect, and I’m excited to be on board as the Strength & Conditioning Coach.

My role is simple: Help these athletes build the physical qualities needed to perform at their best. Strength, speed, power, resilience, and the habits that carry over both on and off the field.

It’s exciting to work alongside dedicated coaches, supportive families, and a group of young athletes who are eager to learn, improve, and push their limits every session.

Looking forward to helping develop the next generation and seeing what this group can achieve throughout the sessions.

A lot of athletes mistake general fitness for game fitness.

They’re two completely different things.

If your conditioning doesn’t reflect the demands of your sport, you’ll always struggle when intensity rises.

Train for the game. Not the fitness test.

What’s the biggest physical challenge in your sport right now?

More work doesn’t always equal better performance.

A lot of athletes are carrying unnecessary fatigue into competition because there’s no balance between workload and recovery.

Train hard. Recover harder.

Athletes: Do you actually feel fresh and explosive on game day?

Leadership shows up most when things aren’t going your way.

Every team watches body language.
Every team feeds off communication.

Good leaders bring composure under pressure.

When pressure hits, are you adding energy to the team… or draining it?

The flashy stuff gets views.
The fundamentals get results.

Athletes who dominate consistently usually do simple things extremely well.

Don’t let entertainment replace development.

What’s more important to you right now… looking athletic or actually performing better?

Too many game day warm ups are built from habit instead of purpose.

Same drills. Same flow. Same energy. Every week.

A proper warm up should prepare athletes for the specific demands of competition, physically and mentally.

Intensity, timing, movement quality, communication, and focus all matter.

Because the game starts before the whistle.

Coaches are your warm ups actually preparing athletes to perform… or just burning time before kick-off?

The all-or-nothing mindset is killing your progress.

One missed workout doesn’t ruin results.
One takeaway meal doesn’t ruin progress.

But constantly stopping and restarting does.

Sustainable training and nutrition will always beat short bursts of motivation.

That’s why coaching should fit your life… not take over it.

If you’re tired of constantly falling off and starting again, DM me “CONSISTENT” and let’s simplify it.

Most people only see the sessions being run.

They don’t see the planning behind it.

Programming for multiple groups means balancing performance, recovery, injury history, skill level, workload, and progression all at once.

Good coaching isn’t random.

Every set, rep, exercise, and progression should have intent behind it.

That’s how you get results without constantly running into setbacks.

If you’re tired of guessing your training and want structure behind what you’re doing, send me a DM saying “COACHING”

A lot of athletes stop training with freedom.
Everything becomes pressure, validation and proving themselves.

That mindset tightens everything.
Movement. Confidence. Decision making.

The best athletes compete with clarity not desperation.

Getting cleared to train again and actually feeling confident again are two completely different things.

A lot of people are technically “healed”…
but still move cautiously, avoid certain exercises, or feel nervous loading things properly.

That hesitation adds up.

You stop progressing. You lose strength & training becomes frustrating instead of empowering.

The goal isn’t just removing pain. It’s rebuilding confidence in your body again.

That takes proper progression, structure, and patience.

If you’re stuck in that phase where you can train but nothing feels right yet, DM me “CONFIDENCE” and let’s rebuild it properly.
