The Cassettes’ beg-int dancers are a connected community, who always make me feel supported.

🌸⚡️🍑They bring lavendar posies from their garden; hot-glue neon tassles to their denim butts; and come to class when feeling fantastic or flat: which I so appreciate. It’s ok to be how we actually are…and self-acceptance is contagious 💗🤘🏼.

⚡️💃🏻Grateful for dance, an underrated miracle drug. It hits the spot when you’re feeling meh, or yeh 💫.

⚡️And sometimes we dance 80s rock: it’s the silliest, funnest, and most endorphin bursting of musical genres.

😍Our 7-week Cassette dance terms end with a celebratory, zero pressure, total joy showclass, with a fantabulous dress-up theme.

⚡️This term we a grunge + 80s rock salvaged costume invitation: think tassels, punky plaid, black rock tee, denim. I LOVE the creative interpretations.

😍My honour to lead these sparkly everyday heroes (Cassettes are sparkly even in brooding darks 🤘🏼✨💖).

⚡️The Cassettes annual Dance & Creativity Retreat 😍!! It was an affirming and momentous experience. Jeeps were mounted.

✨💖💫🎉I’ve come away feeling more creative than ever, and with many learnings. One of which is: You can trust people will pick up what you’re putting down, so put down your deepest, truest heart creations.

⚡️💓Thank you so so much to our incredible Cassette ReTreat stars, legends all. The phrase ‘women are remarkable’ kept coming to me over the weekend.

🎉💗⚡️I loved the many collaborative and spontaneous moments, and equally the comfort of a detailed activity schedule 🤓. Which it turns out, we all loved! Freedom within creative constraint 💫
