Throw Back Thursday …. Who is this?

11/10/2026

Groundhog days.
When a mate says, “I want to get into Sprintcars” Hahaha

This is what they are in for…
Sprintcars are not a hobby, they are a way of life.
Hard work at first. Then Very hard work
It doesn’t get easier.
Very time consuming
Emotionally unpredictable
Expensive at first.. followed by very expensive
Exciting but often devastatingly disappointing.
A great night can become heart breaking without warning.
Did I mention the time, the hard work and the cost?
However, if you are anything like me and many others, it becomes a drug you can’t live without.
The highs outweigh the lows, the reruns over drinks with mates are so detailed and animated, explained with hand gestures to add emphasis, more laps rerun over and over.
In the morning, reality kicks in, and the work starts again.
Another Groundhog Day.
