Basketball ACT would like to congratulate our 10 Canberra based referees that have been successful in being a part of the Senior Waratah League Finals Panel for 2026. This is a huge achievement having 10 referees part of this panel, the most we have ever had on panel.

Their dedication, consistency and commitment in the season has paid off to earn them a position on the finals panel

Congratulations to Ashton Tulk, Hannah Creighton, Ryan Buchaniec, Jakson Peach, Fraser Murray, Joshua Burghardt, Rhys Boreham, Sarah Fahey, Jackson Tomas and Ryan Blundell for their appointments.

We would like to wish them the best of luck in the finals series!

These roles are critical to the success of our representative programs and offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of high-performing athletes.
We’re looking for committed individuals who are ready to invest time, energy, and expertise into our pathway and in return, we’ll support you every step of the way to help you grow as a coach and leader.

A strong weekend across the Waratah program.

The Youth League Men are moving on after an 89–84 Round of 16 win over the Dolphins!

The Youth League Women completed a perfect double-header weekend, while the Waratah Women also came away with a win!

The Waratah Men fought hard on the road but couldn’t get the result in either game.
