CNCC vs CNCC Strikers
Toss: CNCC Strikers won the toss and elected to bowl.

CNCC posted a competitive 160/6 in 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant half-century from Prashant Bista (50 off 34) and a valuable 40 from Janak Pachhai. Raj Timalsina also chipped in with a quick 25. For the Strikers, Yubraj Thapa was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets. Sokhin, Saurav, Sugam Bajgai, Samir took one each.

Chasing 161, the CNCC Strikers never found momentum as wickets fell at regular intervals. The CNCC bowlers maintained tight lines and applied pressure throughout the innings. Janak Pachhai delivered a match-winning spell of 3 wickets for just 6 runs, while Prashant Bista and Samit claimed 2 wickets each. The Strikers were restricted to 77/8 in 20 overs.

A dominant all-round performance from CNCC secured a convincing 83-run victory.

🏏 1st Round Match Summary
CNCC vs BUCC

Toss: CNCC won the toss and elected to bowl first.

CNCC started strongly with an early breakthrough from Prashant, followed by another wicket in the next over to put BUCC under pressure. After the powerplay, debutant Rajat announced himself with a welcome wicket. BUCC managed to rebuild during the middle overs, but CNCC came back strongly in the death overs.

Ashish produced a match-winning spell in the final five overs, picking up 4 wickets and helping bowl out BUCC for 148/10. Prashant added two more wickets to his tally, while Janak chipped in with one wicket.

🎯 Target: 149

CNCC got off to a blazing start thanks to the man in form, Ashish Devkota, who smashed 40 off just 12 balls, including 4 sixes and 3 fours. Janak contributed a steady 21(27) with a boundary, while Raj added 30(32) with 1 six and 1 four.

Pradip Thapa played a composed finishing innings of 37(32), striking 2 sixes and 1 four, guiding CNCC to a comfortable 5-wicket victory.

1st Round Match Summary

🏏 CNCC Strikers vs HGCC
Toss: HGCC won the toss and elected to bat first.

HGCC got off to a quick start, but a magical run-out from Saurav shifted the momentum towards CNCC Strikers. Debutant Sugam Silwal made an instant impact by picking up 2 wickets in his very next over.

Saurav then returned with the ball to grab another wicket for the team and also managed another run-out in the same over. Yubraj didn’t allow the batters to settle and added another important wicket.

After the break, the spin attack took control as Abhishek and Sugam picked up one wicket each while maintaining excellent economy rates. Saurav also bowled a brilliant maiden over.

At the death, specialist bowler Sokhin cleaned up the innings with 2 crucial wickets, restricting HGCC to just 104 runs.

Target: 105 Runs

Amit played a solid knock of 22 runs off 16 balls, smashing 3 boundaries and building good partnerships with Sujan at the top.

Although CNCC Strikers lost momentum in the middle overs, Abhishek steadied the innings with a composed 29 runs off 29 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six. Sokhin supported well from the other end, and their partnership guided CNCC Strikers to their first victory of the season. πŸŽ‰
