The morning started foggy and cold. Just as it should for our winter round robin. Then the sun came out. The day was filled with fun, laughter, great tennis and our bellies with pancakes, hot chocolate and mulled wine. Congrats to Leonie , Rosa and Akiro for winning and to everyone else for coming.

Our inaugural Wimbledon Ladies' Day was a fabulous success. We embraced the occasion by donning our whites, playing a round with wooden racquets and of course enjoying a high tea complete with Pimms, cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and cream, scones and a range of yummy morsels. Thanks to everyone who made it possible under the lead of Linda Elliott. Congratulations to all the prize winners.
