Head Coach Robert Jamieson and Senior Coach Jarrad from Canberra School of Tennis have completed a four‑week Tennis in Schools program with students from Kindergarten to Year 2 at St Clare of Assisi Primary School.

This initiative is designed to spark a love of tennis in young players while strengthening the connection between schools, local clubs, and quality coaching pathways.

CSOT has proudly delivered this program for several years, and we deeply value the school’s commitment to building a positive, active tennis culture within the community.

The Pines Tennis Club and Canberra School of Tennis are excited to invite you to our FREE Come and Try Tennis Day on Saturday 19th Sept 2026, from 1pm–3pm

We’ve planned an action-packed afternoon with tennis activities for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to get back into the swing of things, there’s something for everyone.

For Kids (Ages 3-16) Children can experience our Hot Shots program, trying out the colour ball stage best suited to their age and ability. It’s a fun, engaging way to learn tennis fundamentals in a supportive environment.

For Adults Don’t just watch from the sidelines, jump in! We’re showcasing our popular Cardio Tennis sessions, designed to get your heart pumping while having a blast on court.

Starter Enrolment Package for New Players All new junior players who register for Term 4 will receive a free racquet and shirt, plus access to our Hot Shots Social Play program (valued at over $150) for those in Red Advanced, Orange, or Green stages.

A recent survey indicated a significant number of members are very supportive of the court expansion. Tuggeranong needs more tennis courts!!

Spring is Here at The Pines! 🌼

With warmer weather arriving and winter behind us, our flowering season is officially underway. Our garden beds are coming alive with a vibrant range of colours from fresh bulbs and annuals, paired with new soil. A special thank-you goes out to Nestor and Di for the tremendous time and care put into making this display happen for everyone to enjoy!

Unfortunately, we’ve noticed a fair bit of damage to several of our flower beds recently, with blooms snapped, flattened, or snipped off. While our local cockatoos may be responsible for some of the mischief, we also want to make sure foot traffic isn't adding to the problem.

A huge amount of volunteer effort goes into creating our annual display. We kindly ask all parents, visitors, and coaches to remind players and spectators to stay strictly on the pathways and give the garden beds plenty of breathing room.

Let’s work together to protect our shared space so everyone can enjoy the blooms all season!
