The Cranbourne Football and Netball Club is affiliated with the Southern Football Netball League. The clubs home ground is located at Livingston Reserve, Cranbourne East, 45 km south-east of Melbourne. The Cranbourne Football Club was formed in 1889 and today consists of two senior, one x U/19, 2 x Over 35s, 1 x Over 45 and all-abilities football teams. It also has four senior and six under age netball teams.

Unlucky result for our Under 19s today, going down by 11 points in the Division 2 Grand Final.

The boys gave absolutely everything and never stopped fighting until the final siren.

While the result is disappointing, this group has given everyone at Cranbourne plenty to be proud of.

The trajectory of this club has been massive. In 2023, we didn’t have a side. In 2024, John Hetherington started this venture and got the program going. In 2025, Steve Roy continued building it, and now in 2026, Josh and this group have taken us to a Grand Final.

That is an incredible progression, and it shows that this club is rebuilding something special.

We couldn’t be prouder of the players, coaches, families and supporters who represented Cranbourne today. The result didn’t go our way, but the growth of this team and club has been enormous, and it’s only going to get bigger.

Hold your heads high, boys. You gave everything, and we are incredibly proud of you.

With one game remaining in the home & away season, the race for Cranbourne’s highest individual honour is getting very interesting… 👀

Will Zak Roscoe claim his second Club Best & Fairest and add to his 2024 triumph?

Could Andrew Green salute after putting together his first full, uninterrupted season in the blue and gold?

Could it be our first-year Eagle, 17-year-old “Prince” Will Nisbet, taking home the club’s highest individual honour in his debut season?

Or how about this for a story…

Could the very much-publicised 41-year-old Marc Holt wind back the clock and claim his second Andrew Dalgleish Medal — an incredible 19 YEARS after winning his first in 2007? 🤯

To put that into perspective…

Holty had already won an Andrew Dalgleish Medal two years before Will Nisbet was even born. 😂

One is 17. One is 41.

And both could be sitting there on September 24 with their eyes on the same medal. 🏅

Of course, there might just be someone else ready to spoil the party…

ROBBIE GITTENS — 2026 SFNL DIVISION 2 U19 BEST & FAIREST! 🦅💙💛

An outstanding individual season from Robbie, polling 22 votes to claim the league Best & Fairest by four votes.

A brilliant achievement for Robbie, his family and everyone involved with our Under 19 program.

🏆 THE TIME HAS COME. GRAND FINAL WEEK. 🏆

This Saturday, our Under 19s take on the Frankston Dolphins in the SFNL Division 2 Grand Final.

And if the season is anything to go by, strap yourselves in.

🐬 Round 12: Frankston by 4 points — 27–23
🦅 Second Semi: Cranbourne by ONE point — 69–68

Now they meet for a third time — for the premiership.

Thursday is the boys’ final training and selection night, as well as our final Thursday night dinner for 2026.

Get down to the rooms, grab a hamburger and chips, have a couple of beers and get around the boys before the biggest game of their season.

🏆 SATURDAY — WE WANT CRANBOURNE THERE!

Throw on the blue and gold, bring the family and let’s get a massive Cranbourne crowd around the fence at Springvale.

Then after the game, it’s everyone back to Amstel Reserve and the Leo Hermans Social Club!

🔒 FOUR MORE LOCKED IN FOR 2027 🔒

The future continues to take shape.

Liam Foggo, Joel Davey, Brock Van Loon and Charlie Ellis have all committed to the club for season 2027.

All four are exciting young players who made their mark at senior level this season and showed they have plenty to offer moving forward.

Continuing to develop and retain our young talent is a huge part of where we’re heading as a club, and we’re excited to see what this group can do in 2027 and beyond.

Four more locked in — and plenty more still to come. 🦅
