🏉 It's happening!

Bridge Street is being rebuilt. New drainage, new irrigation and new TifTuf turf that stays greener through winter. Plus new coaches' boxes and drinking fountains.

No more waterlogged winters. A huge thank you to Tim Adams, the Victorian Government and Nillumbik Council for making it happen.

We will share updates as the ground takes shape. Watch this space! 🖤💛

🏉 What a day for our juniors!

Junior Presentation Day was a celebration of everything our teams achieved in 2026. Medals for every player, a sausage for everyone and a very popular reptile show.

A special congratulations to our two club volunteers of the year. Alana Su'a received the Jim Speight Club Volunteer of the Year award, and Oliver Loughlin received the Paul Weightman Junior Club Volunteer of the Year award. Thank you both for everything you do.

Bendigo 7s
Our seniors hit the road to Bendigo for the rugby 7s, and Theo grabbed his phone to capture the weekend. Fast rugby, big efforts and plenty of laughs along the way.
A huge thank you to Theo for putting this together. Videos like this show exactly what our club is about: good mates, good rugby and a lot of fun.

🏉 What a weekend in Bendigo!

Eltham Rugby headed to the Goldfields Sevens with four teams: our Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 18s on Saturday, and our Seniors on Sunday.

Saturday was a long, hot day in the sun and every junior gave it their all. For many it was their first year of sevens, and we’re so proud of the way they got out there, gave it a go and wore the black and yellow with pride. Our Under 12s and Under 18s fought all the way to the semi-finals, and our Under 14s battled hard in every game.

On Sunday our Seniors took the field and flew the flag for the club.

All our teams welcomed new faces, including some Kiwi boys, and they fitted in like they’d been with us for years. One visiting family told us they “genuinely felt like we belonged”. That’s the best compliment a club can get. 💛

A special shout out to Alana, who organised everything for our juniors, from the lead-up right through the day. You absolutely nailed it! 👏 Huge thanks too to our coaches, managers and medics, and to every family and supporter who made the trip: weekends like this don’t happen without you.

Rugby brings us together. The people keep us here.

Go Eltham! 🖤💛
