For the first time this year, West Tamar Dance Academy have entered a very small handful of our routines at Launceston Festival of Dance. A massive 9 day competition of incredible talent from dance studios all around the state.

Last night we had two routines entered, and to say we are incredibly proud of these girls would be an understatement!

🥈Willow 2nd place - 16 years restricted lyrical solo. Stunning performance. Handled it like the champ she is and put us on the map.

⭐️ Zoe and Jasmine - u16 years modern/neo/lyrical/contemporary duo. Held their own in a massive section of 18!

Congratulations to these girls on their debut at LFOD, you have done us proud.

🌟 Special Guest Visit This Thursday! 🌟

This Thursday, Sept 17th, our Senior Strength & Technique students (Shimmy Shakers and Teen Twisters) will welcome a visit from Exercise Physiologist, Katie-Jane Brickwood from Body Connect.
Katie-Jane was one of the original members of our adult class, Sassy Squad, so we’re delighted to welcome her back to WTDA! She’ll share her expertise in strength development, safe movement and injury prevention, helping our dancers better understand how their bodies work during exercise.
What a fantastic opportunity for our dancers!
