Still on a high from our incredible week at YAGP!

A huge thank you to Miss Larissa and the entire Youth America Grand Prix team for everything they do, and for providing such an incredible opportunity for dancers across Australia to perform, learn, grow and be inspired.

We are so incredibly proud of every one of our dancers who took to the YAGP stage. The dedication, courage and artistry you displayed throughout the week was a beautiful reflection of the hard work you put into your training every day.

IMPACT DANCE FESTIVAL

What an incredible weekend for Makayla makayla and Marli •M a r l i H e r t h • who had the opportunity to attend IMPACT Dance Festival after being awarded scholarships at our Scholarship Concert earlier this year.

Across the weekend, the girls immersed themselves in an inspiring program of workshops, choreography masterclasses, professional performances and industry talks, learning from incredible artists, expanding their knowledge and experiencing so many different aspects of the dance industry.

Opportunities like these are so valuable for young dancers, allowing them to step outside their usual training environment, be inspired by new voices and continue to grow as both dancers and artists.

A huge thank you to IMPACT FESTIVAL Catapult Choreographic Hub and Canvas Events Co for providing this wonderful opportunity for our students. We are so grateful to see Makayla and Marli making the most of their scholarships and representing Ablaze Dance Academy with such excellence.

What a HUGE weekend of fun, energy and excitement for our tiniest competition dancers at Abermain Eisteddfod!

For some, it was the debut of brand new routines, and for others, their very first time stepping onto a competition stage! We couldn’t be prouder of the confidence, courage and enthusiasm they brought with them.

With some big sections filled with so many talented dancers, our ADA kids had an incredible weekend:

Building confidence, gaining experience and discovering just how much fun performing can be is such an important step in dance, and these superstars made us all extremely proud doing exactly that! 🌟

We can’t wait to watch these routines develop and see each of these dancers continue to grow in confidence throughout the year.

What an incredible privilege for our Ablaze Dance Academy students to welcome Benedicte Bemet Benedicte Bemet Principal Artist with The Australian Ballet, into the studio.

At Ablaze Dance Academy, we believe there is enormous value in giving our students the opportunity to learn from artists working at the highest level of the industry. Exposure to a diverse range of renowned guest faculty allows our dancers to experience different perspectives, approaches and insights while continuing to broaden their understanding of what it takes to pursue a professional career.

To learn firsthand from an artist of Benedicte’s calibre and experience was an incredibly valuable opportunity for our students, inspiring them to continue refining their artistry, technique and approach to their training.

A huge thank you to Benedicte for sharing her knowledge, experience and artistry with the next generation of dancers. We are incredibly grateful to have opportunities like these as part of the training we provide at Ablaze Dance Academy.
