Quick reactions to all of the NFL news from today:

Myles Garrett to Rams- as I said in my previous post, this is league altering. The Rams have just sold everything for a ring this year or next year. Imagine if they went further and drafted an instant contributor like Rueben Bain or Makai Lemon in the first round this year instead of Ty Simpson, the league would be so cooked.

The Browns got a good return as well by getting Jared Verse who is a good starter. Had a lot of pressures but not a lot of sacks last season. Plus the picks will be handy for Cleveland in their rebuild, as they can't have too many picks in a loaded draft next year.

Win-win for both teams.

AJ Brown to Pats- Been a long time coming but the Patriots finally get their man. AJ Brown reunites with the coach that drafted him in Tennessee. And for a 2028 first round pick as well, with the Patriots still controlling their 2027 first. The Eagles getting a first for a 30 year old receiver seems like they got insane value. But the Patriots also finally get help for Drake Maye, and it seems like they are also in win-now mode like the Rams.

Eagles stronger winners overall but Patriots also win for their immediate need.

Odell Beckham Jr and Juju Smith-Schuster to the Giants- for my heart this is a move that I love as it brings back great memories of the mid-2010s when Odell was running around and making insane catches. I'd do anything to get that old OBJ back, but now in his 30s and having had a few injuries in his NFL career along with a year off in 2025, it seems like those good old days are past him. But I don't mind it for the Giants to have a veteran receiver to mentor Malik Nabers and co. Juju also offers that veteran presence but like Odell has many question marks over the level of productivity that he can provide.

League altering trade. Hate my life as a 49ers fan having to play the Rams and Seahawks twice a year, and I'm going to lose a lot of sleep this year worrying about our O line somehow protecting against Garrett. Dammit we are cooked

Literally woke up at 4am, checked my phone and saw that Myles Garrett got traded to the Rams. Yeah I can't sleep tonight I'm gonna be so cooked all day😭😭😭 the NFL is a crazy sport that never sleeps and I won't either haha.
