Shellharbour SUP queen named one of state's best tour guides Australian SUP champion Rebecca Dunning has won another award, this time for her tour company Stand Up Paddle Boarding Shellharbour

What an evening it was at Taronga Zoo Sydney with Tour Guides Australia & an amazing panel of speakers.
The room was full of tour guides... new friends were made, stories were told & plans of future adventures were made.
This is why we love what we do.

Guess who's bday it was today? Yep, owner & instructor Justin Dunning... happily still referred to by his mates as a "young whipper snapper"! Happy birthday Justin 🏄‍♂️

🌊 When we're not on the water, we're busy learning, planning and finding new ways to make our experiences even better.

We're incredibly proud to have recently earned 5 Accessibility Badges through the Australian Tourism Industry Council! 🎉

Achieving these badges has involved months of work, including:
♿ Developing a comprehensive Accessibility Guide
🌐 Creating a dedicated Accessibility webpage
📖 Designing a Visual Guide and Picture Menu
🗣️ Producing a Communication Picture Board
🎓 Participating in accessibility workshops and webinars
🤝 Networking with guests, accessibility advocates and other tourism businesses
🔑 Obtaining a MLAK to help guests access accessible facilities when required

Accessibility isn't a one-off project - it's an ongoing commitment. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the incredible experience of stand up paddle boarding, and we'll continue to listen, learn and innovate to make our experiences as welcoming and inclusive as possible.

Learning to SUP in the ocean & catch a few waves yesterday was perfect timing first for our interstate guest from Victoria.
We've got wetsuits to hire to keep you warm but you'll be catching plenty of waves so you won't even notice the cool water!
