UPDATE: Team Gaffney won the first set against Longford, lost the second..... but lost in the tiebreak. 🥲🥲

After two rounds the Gaffneys are sitting on top of the ladder in their section in the final of the BPL Cup being played at Howrah. They had a bye first up and are now playing the team from Longford to see who will finish on top the ladder. Good luck team Gaffney 🤗🤗

Good turnout today for our last Soup 🍲and Sandwich 🥪 luncheon before the ladies get down to the serious business of lawn bowls.

A big thank you to all those who have attended our luncheon, or supported us with take-aways, over the last four months, including Karingal, Rubicon, Strathdevon and Diana John's group. Many of you who came attended every one 🙌🙌 thank you.

It is so lovely to see everything having a good old chat and a laugh 😂😂 around their tables.

Lady President Trudy Webb thanked everyone for their attendance and support after conducting the raffle draw.

Also thank you to our valuable volunteers who made the yummy soups, sandwiches, served our guests and did the clean-up afterwards and donated raffle prizes..... and not forgetting the tables setters who always set up the day before.

P.S. The CEO of BNW, Tracey Little joined us today along with Board Member Mandy Compton - great to see you ladies 🤗...think they were up to something....watch this space!!
