All sessions are open to anyone who wants to have a run around and play frisbee in Launceston - no experience needed.
Come along for a free trial and if you love frisbee as much as we do, join the club to play in our events.
*Youth under 18 require a guardian to be present.

Monday night training, Thursday night social games and the King of the Haunted Mountain Halloween Tourney are all free to play for club members.

Mondays and Thursdays will be running for the rest of the year, keep an eye on our calendar and socials for any weekly changes.

Our Halloween Ultimate Frisbee tournament is happening on Thursday 29 October, 6–9pm at Churchill Park sports complex, Invermay. This is a chance to dress up in your wackiest costume for a shot at winning the prize for Best Dressed. 👻

WUF is a Hat Tournament - meaning you sign up as an individual and are assigned a team. Its perfect for anyone and everyone- especially beginners!

Teams are open-aged and mixed gendered.

INDOOR
We love league on Thursdays! Kicking off on the 16th July in the Human Movement Gym, the format will likely be a Hat or Kings/Queens - either way, you just sign up as an individual and we will organise the teams.

CAMPUS SPORT
This year we are partnering with UTAS Sport to run a Campus Sport session for uni students who want to try new sports in a casual atmosphere. This is perfect for students and staff who are new to frisbee, looking for something different to try, or have some uni friends they want to bring along for a casual throw and some minigames.

WUF 8
The super fun, single day indoor Ultimate Frisbee tournament! Sign up as an individual and we will organise the teams, excellent for beginners and all skill levels welcome. Includes multiple games, lunch, snacks, and prizes.

FIELD
Monday night training and mini is on most weeks. This is for anyone who wants to do some training for upcoming events, or just get an extra bit of frisbee into their week.

Ultimate is moving indoors for winter, kicking off tonight with 4 weeks of free pick-up (casual games).

Indoor is great for beginners still learning their throws (because there's no wind!)

Launceston Outdoor Frisbee Tournament 6 # 🏃🏃‍♀️ 🥏

A great full day of frisbee with multiple games - what better way to jump in and learn a new sport!

This event is
⭐ perfect for beginners and all experience levels

This year Unigames will be in Perth, WA from 26th Sep to 3rd Oct.
It's a fun week of playing against other great University Frisbee teams, with a high level of competition but also a really fun time and great vibe.

Launceston try-outs will be this Monday and next (30th March and 6th April) 7:15 - 9:00pm at the UTAS Footy Oval, Newnham Campus. If you are unable to make these dates, just send us a message and we can chat.

EVERY UTAS student is welcome to try out! Even if you haven't played frisbee before, if you're a fast learner and you like running then there's a chance you'll pick frisbee up easily.

Non-students are welcome to come along and play as part of normal Monday night training/pick-up.

We have one more Come and try night, next Thursday 26th Feb, if you haven't played Ultimate frisbee before and would like to check it out come along and join in. Players are responsible for 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 — grab friends, family, colleagues, or people from Come & Try. Pick a team name, register together, and you’re in. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 8 players per team.
