What a day out for the girls and what a performance to remember.
North Hobart batted first and set a challenging total of 245, but it was Emma Manix-Geeves who turned the momentum our way in spectacular fashion. Putting the gloves aside, Emma took the ball and delivered one of the spells of the season. 6 overs, 3 maidens, 5/6 ripping through the lineup and giving our girls a huge boost in the field.
Then she wasn’t done. Walking out to bat, Emma backed it up with an outstanding innings smashing 118 off 121 balls, including 16 fours. With support around her, the girls stayed composed and chased down the target to seal an incredible come-from-behind win.
An all-round performance, a massive team effort, and a result the group can be incredibly proud of. 🧡🏏

Our Raiders Women take the points in round 20 with a strong win over Clarence 🧡

After restricting Clarence to 143, the Raiders chased it down comfortably with Montana Bradley bringing up her 100th appearance for the raiders and anchoring the innings with an unbeaten 65*, supported well by Monique Booth with 36*.

A well-rounded performance and a result to be proud of!! 🧡🏏

It is with great pleasure that we announce Ava Curtis has been selected in the WNCL squad for the first time.

Ava has had a fantastic year to date, representing Tasmania at 2nd XI and under 19’s and now she tops that off with senior selection.

Ava is the captain and leader of our raiders women’s team and we could not be prouder of her achievements to date!

The Ladies Raiders have 5 members in the Tasmania women’s team today which is an achievement in itself.

We wish all the raiders well, along with the rest of the team today! 🧡🧡

Tomorrow is a huge milestone for one of the Raiders’ most consistent and influential performers. Montana Bradley will be lining up for her 100th game when the Raiders Women take on Clarence!🏏

Montana has been a cornerstone of the Raiders’ women’s side for several seasons, known for her calm presence in the middle order and her ability to anchor innings under pressure. Over her time in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League Women’s competition, she’s played many memorable innings. From gritty half centuries to match defining partnerships that have helped the Raiders compete with the best.

Her commitment to the team both on and off the field has been clear. Whether it’s travelling long distances for fixtures, mentoring younger players or stepping up with the bat when her side needed stability. Montana’s experience and leadership have been vital in shaping the Raiders into a competitive unit year after year.

Congratulations Montana, go well!! 🧡

A big congratulations to Alice McLauchlan on reaching 100 games!! 🏏

We missed this milestone at the time, but it’s an achievement that deserves to be recognised. Alice is one of the first women to play 100 games for the Raiders, showing her long-term commitment and passion for the game.

She has been part of the women’s program from the early days and has played an important role in its growth, always turning up and giving her best for the team.

Well done on a fantastic milestone, Alice!
A great achievement and one to be proud of 🧡

Another one of our senior brigade celebrates a milestone this weekend as we Congratulates Alistair Taylor on reaching 100 games this weekend against Clarence.
Player Number 3, AT was an inaugural member of the Raiders program and was part of First Game played at Kingborough on the 6th of October 2018. A was a member of the 2021/22 T20 Premiership win and was captain of the 2025/26 Kookaburra Cup win early this year.
Currently, AT is into his 3rd season as Head Coach of the Male Program helping build a sustainable program into the future. A strong contributor for the Launceston Cricket Club for a number of years we thank them for all of their support of AT and the Raiders Program over the years 🍊⚔🧡

This weekend we celebrate one of the Raiders best ever.
Jono Chapman brings up his 100th game against Clarence in game 2 of our T20 weekend!
Player number 15 Jono Debuted on the 27th of October 2018 against Glenorchy. His numbers speak highly enough but what people don't see if his work ethic behind the scenes always doing extra's to better himself. Chappy has turned himself into a fantastic allrounder taking 169 wickets and scoring over 1000 runs at a healthy average.
A member of our T20 Grand Final win in 2021/22 with a best on ground performance, he was also a member of the 2025/26 Kookaburra Cup win, also representing the Tasmanian 2nd X1.
Jono's had an outstanding career not just for the Raiders but for the Shamrocks Cricket Club as well playing over 150 games and we thank them for the support they have showed the Raiders program along the way!
Congratulations Jono!

Sam Omahony! What more can we say!
Sam has ticked off a few milestones this year and here's another couple! A match for the ages against South Hobart on the weekend 5/22 bowling first then following it up with his third 💯 for the Raiders! He also became only the third Raider to pass 2000 runs just moving past great mate Miles Barnard into 2nd all time!

Again! Well done Sam 🧡⚔
