🏆 This Sunday we play host to the Football Wagga Preliminary Finals at the Leeton Sportsground!! it’s a stacked card which includes our Under 16s & Under 18s sides playing for a spot in the Grand Final. Full canteen facilities available all day long so come on down and witness some epic matches!!!

🖤❤️ Junior Futsal volunteers needed!!! ❤️🖤

🏆 We are on the lookout for volunteers to take on the role of running the Junior Futsal competition. We are seeking ideally at least 3 or more individuals to assist with the running of this competition. This will include not only running the games on the chosen night but also registrations, organising teams and draws.

🏆 At this stage there are two options for the competition to be run from Mid October through to mid December.

👉Thursday nights at the Indoor stadium as per previous seasons.

👉 Friday nights at the town ovals as summer soccer (combined with our senior summer soccer competition)

🏆 There is also an alternative option to move the competition in line with Term 1 in 2027 but would have to be played on a Saturday or Sunday.

🏆 If you would like to volunteer your services please reach out to our page or committee ASAP otherwise if we cannot find suitable help this competition may not proceed for this year.

🖤❤️ Finals Time 💪💪 it’s do or die tomorrow with our Football Wagga Under 16s & Under 18s sides taking to the field in Semi-Final action!!! First up at Rawlings Park, Wagga, our Under 16s take on Lake Albert Soccer Club at 11:15am. A win pitting them 1 step closer to to a Grand Final appearance in their inaugural football Wagga campaign. Following on it’s the same scenario for Under 18s!! With a win they earn their spot in the all important preliminary final which will be played here right at home 🏠 All to play for, go get ‘em team 💪❤️🖤

🖤❤️ A huge thank you to Gavin Sullivan and his team at GS & BD Electrics Pty Ltd for their assistance with the new lighting upgrade at the Leeton Town Ovals as part of our successful Infrastructure Grant. A massive thank you also to Leeton Shire Council & Josh Clyne for their support and assistance to help make this project successful. Leeton United was successful in receiving a grant of $250,000 for the much needed improvement of the floodlights at the Leeton Town Oval number 2 & 3 complex.

From start to finish, Gavin and his team were professionally organised and ensured the project ran smoothly and quickly. The communication throughout the project was excellent, making the whole process easy and straightforward.

We really appreciate the time, effort and professionalism shown by the team, as well as their support in helping us improve the facilities at the Leeton Town Oval Complex.

🖤❤️ A heartbreaking defeat for our Griffith Football Under 12s side as their finals campaign comes to an end with their defeat yesterday. Not the way you want to finish the season but we are incredibly proud of what they achieved this year. Congratulations to you all and coach Joey Fondacaro on an incredible year!! Our Football Wagga 16s & 18s sides advance to the first week of finals next weekend, however it is the end of the road for our Ressies and Firsts who finish the season on a positive note, with First grade producing a thumping 11-1 victory and Ressies picking up their first win of the season in dominating fashion (via forfeit)!!! Once again congratulations to you all on your efforts this season ❤️🖤

🖤❤️ With two forfeits already on the board for our Under 16s & reserve grade side, it’s a three game fixture card this weekend!!! Headlining the weekend is Under 12s Preliminary Final against Yoogali Soccer Club as the side looks to book their place in the Grand Final day next weekend!!! So if you can get over to Ted Scobie Oval and watch our future stars in action!!! Over in Football Wagga action it’s our 18s & First grade lining up against South Wagga Football Club in the final round of the competition!!! Plenty to play for both teams as the 18s look to finish the regular season on a high and take that confidence into the final series!! On the other side of the ledger First Grade look to finish their season with a victory to cap off a season with plenty of positives to take into the future ❤️🖤
