The Wednesday Ladies played Rd 2 of the Elvie Jones Stableford Challenge. Our winner on the day was Juz Day with 37, on a countback to her mother, Jenny Day. Well done to both of you.
Jenny Day won the Stableford Challenge with 73, on a countback to Viv Burton. Congratulations, ladies. Thank you, Danny and Kerry Jones, for sponsoring today's event. Next Wednesday is Stableford, and our sponsor is Leanne Butler.

60 players turned up for the Southern Central Engineering sponsored 4BBB Stableford Aggregate event in perfect weather again. Phil Puntoriero was on fire to have 40 points and carry partner Paul Lanham (34) to victory, over the consistent Peter McCormick (36) and Gus Comi (36). Phil also had the best individual score of the day. Next Saturday see's the final round of the Handiskins Stableford tournament. The day is sponsored by Washington's Furniture. Other up coming events are the RDGA AGM next Sunday in Narrandera @10.30 am. On the golf front the Men's NSW Sand Green Championships will be held at Hillston on the 10th & 11th October. Then the Leeton Club Championships will be played over two weekends with the dates being the 17th & 18th, and the 24th & 25th October. So time to start practicing.

The Wednesday Ladies played Rd 1 of the Elvie Jones Stableford Challenge in cold and windy conditions,however there were some great scores, Division 1 winner was Viv Burton with 38 points,
Backing up from winning September Medal, runner up was Jenny Day with 36 points. Division 2 winner
With a great score was Jeanie Leighton with 41 points and Runner up was Leanne Butler with 39 points.
Thank you Danny and Kerry for sponsoring a lovely ladies Trophy. Next Wednesday is Rd 2 of the stableford challenge.
