😥 …for every high there seems two lows …and that’s just horses ♥️

I feel emotionally drained this evening … feels like it’s time for a change in direction .

With the cost of transport, feed ,training and horse care services increasing….and with my reserves low ..the highs of what I have been doing are no longer outweighing the lows …

No one works with horses to make money unless they are completely delusional .. but we can tell ourselves the good outweigh the bad, the losses are offset by the wins ..and usually that’s true . Recently …that’s shifted ..so time for a reduction in numbers, costs and stress ..

Heard that before ! ( husband eye roll ) but this time I am serious .

Have a great batch of horses being started / re-started or due babies . So I will enjoy this time but looking forward to simpler times !
