❤️💚 REAPPOINTMENT

The Mecca would like to announce our Vice President Michael Langford as the C Grade Captain for season 2026/27.

Mick will lead the team for a third consecutive season since arriving at the Mecca.

After going winless 2 seasons ago, Mick led the same core group of players to six wins last year, showing just how much the side has grown and improved under his leadership.

Mick is a great clubman and family man who is always willing to put his hand up and do whatever he can for the club and his teammates. His selfless leadership and commitment to the group has been a big part of the continued development of our C Grade side.

We are super excited to see what our C Grade team can achieve this season with Mick leading the way once again.

Congratulations Mick! ❤️🏏

❤️💚 APPOINTMENT

The Mecca would like to announce Jarrod Berry as the B grade captain for season 2026/27.

Jarrod arrived at the club last season and made himself right at home in the red and green. He was rewarded with 2 A grade games after consistent B grade outings in the early stages of the year.

Bez went on to be a key pillar in the B grade side with a tidy 25 wickets @14.32 and finishing runner up in the best and fairest.

His experience and cricket knowledge is going to make a great leader as he takes this B grade group forward in a push for a finals campaign.

Congratulations Bez - and welcome back to his wife Hayley and his two sons, Harry and Jack ❤️ 💚
