🏏💐Vale 🕊️ Alan Heath 🕊️ RIP💐⚾️
8/10/1943 ~ 14/9/2026
I was most saddened to recently learn of Alan’s passing. He has been a friend for just over 50 years after us being competitors in the NC&SCA A Grade Cricket Competition.
Alan was a very good all-round sportsman being a very competitive opening bowler playing cricket for the Technical College Cricket Club, baseball for the Mayfield Boomerangs Baseball Club and bowls at the Hamilton North Bowling Club.
He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. I am left with many great memories of the good times we spent together, particularly at the Tech Tavern.
Sending heartfelt condolences to Pat and family from Steve and Virginia Petherbridge

Today is not just a Grand Final for some, Chase Karn reaches his 50 games for Boomerangs this week.

Chase came across in 2019 and immediately made an impact, in that season he was leading the competition batting average before heading stateside to play college baseball.

After returning he has been one of the best outfielders in the comp and is always a threat in the box and on the bases.

We love to see how hard he plays the game every week and usually has a smile from ear to ear.

Congratulations Chase, here's to many more!
