Motorsports safety has improved significantly over the last 20 years. However, there are still gaps that leave drivers vulnerable. That’s why Mackz Performance has developed the Mackz 360 SCS (Safety Cell System) to offer what no other safety device has been able to do - an innovative system that provides 360° protection, addressing force impacts from the X, Y and Z directions as well as rotational forces. Most people who run will use a running app to track their running. In fact lots of people run with their smartwatch which measures additional metrics like HR or cadence. It still works as part of their running or workout app. But is that all running apps could do?
Here we share 4 additional functionalities that apps could do for your running besides recording your run. From navigating training plans to running routes, and using your smartphone camera to find your ideal running shoes and running posture.
Here’s a quick rundown:
1) Custom Training Plan apps (Runna Run With Hal) - whether you signed up for a race or want to achieve a new PB, these apps will come up with a training plan that suits you. And as you progress, they even adjust your training plan based on your performance.
2) Running new routes with navigation (RunGo) - find new routes to run while not having to refer to your phone maps because the app gives you turn-by-turn directions so you stay on track.
3) Find new running shoes that fit you (Neatsy) - get objective measurements of your feet, and they have a database of shoes and user feedback that tells you what shoes will fit your feet.
4) Measure your running posture and find out how to improve (Ochy) - video your run following a set of guidelines, and it turns that into a gait analysis so you can see which areas you can improve and the exercises that will help.
