On the blog: Big confidence starts here – How Swimming Helps Children Build Skills For Life

Swimming can feel daunting at first. The water is unfamiliar. New skills take practice. Progress requires patience.
But that’s exactly what makes swimming such a powerful confidence builder.

New things take time
Mistakes are part of learning
Trying again leads to progress

When children overcome challenges in the pool, they begin to approach challenges outside the pool differently too.

Teaching children what to do when they fall in the water is a vital part of learning to swim.

Our little swimmers practise turning on to their backs, finding a floating position, controlling their breathing and staying calm – Building skills that can make a real difference in an emergency.

That's Learn To Swim. Done Better.
