Had a great time sitting down with Heath from the Flight Style Podcast. Link in bio.
We covered wingsuit flying, progression, safety, mindset, and some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way — both in the air and outside of it. Always cool to have real conversations with people who genuinely care about the sport and the community.
If you’re into wingsuiting, BASE, skydiving, or just human flight in general, give it a listen. Hope there’s something in there that helps, inspires, or at least makes you think a little differently. 👊🪂
Big thanks to the Flight Style Podcast for having me on.

Australian Nationals Wingsuit Performance 🚀
Huge congratulations to .ws who flew an incredibly solid competition with very few mistakes to take the overall win and the gold for Distance too. .ws showed his dominance for Time and secured 2nd place overall, I managed to take the gold for the Speed Task and third overall. Together I think we’re going be a pretty unstoppable team for the Worlds Championships in October.
This year’s Nationals came together a little unexpectedly for me. I only confirmed that I could compete 2 weeks before the event, and it had been since October that I’d even flown my CR+ competition suit, so the goal going into the comp was to get back into the flow of competition flying and see how rusty I was!
The level of flying was super high and the scores were really close across the podium, which made for a fun and engaging competition right to the end.
Luke is the current World Champion and Jason has podiumed at the last 2 World events, so I couldn’t have picked a more
challenging comp to turn up to unprepared. All things considered I’m pretty happy with still being able to hang with those 2!
My first jump didn’t go quite to plan and I picked up a 10 % lane penalty to my score, definitely not the start I was hoping for but thankfully I was able to sort out what caused it and settle into the rest of the competition. I completed the remaining rounds without any further penalties.
One of the nicest parts of the weekend was watching the battle and progression in the intermediate category. Jason, Luke and I all spent time helping all the competitors with jump analysis and offering advice, helping to bring up the next generation of Performance Flyers.
The whole event was a great success and I would like to thank everyone involved in organising it. Jules and her crew did an amazing job. It’s always a pleasure spending time with such a great community.
A special thank you has to go out to .ws for always having my back and making it possible for me to compete at this event, thank you so much for all the support for more than 10 years.
🐿️💙

Back on the bike again!
A loooooooong time ago, I used to race as a cyclist. It was my life, I trained up to 30 hours and 800km a week. It was basically my life!
After a long hiatus, I’m getting back in the saddle.. maybe I’ll even get back into some local racing!
This ride was the furthest I’ve ridden a bike in over 20 years and I can’t wait for my brain and legs to be on the same page again for what I can achieve.😝
