Waikerie to Mypolonga covering 233kms

We head off from Waikerie after breakfast being provided by the local Rotary Club and head downstream towards the Swan Reach Hotel where we will stop off on the cliff and enjoy lunch with a view (check out their new development happening - open for Christmas šŸŽ„)

In the Swan Reach area, hoping us for a bite or bevy or even jump on your ski

From there we go through Mannum before arriving at Mypolonga where we are hosted for the night by the Mypolonga Football Club

The club do meals every Friday night so get along and see the crew

6 sleeps and we are off down the river

Rex & I dropped into Pelican Marine today to pick up the skis, serviced and ready to cover the 2200kms from Albury to Goolwa

Renmark to Waikerie covering 230kms

After a night at the Woolshed we kick off the morning with a nice bacon & egg breakfast šŸ‘Œ

Heading from Murtho towards Renmark, we hit one small snag with a lock closed for repairs, but no need to worry we have plan and the exact reason we have a road crew to support!

We take a stop at Loxton to re fuel and have some lunch before arriving in Waikerie

This length of the river is one of (& I say one as there are many) the most spectacular with the red cliffs lining the side of the river.

That night we stay at the Waikerie caravan park and enjoy a meal at the Waikerie Football Club venue - which was only opened last year (make sure you check it out if you are in the area!)

Well itā€™s not far away now!
The Big Ride ā€˜26 (take 2) is officially counting down. With only 17 days to go until we launch, the excitement is building and preparations stepping up to a new level.

Mildura to Renmark covering 264kms

Today kicks off one of our longest days on the river which includes 5 locks

We take off from Apex River Beach Holiday Parks boat ramp - very convenient!

Due to the number of locks there is no specific lunch stop so the road crew are on their own

Lucky for them we are heading to the amazing Woolshed Brewery in Murtho which is our night stop

We invite everyone to join us that night for our great event and enjoy a ā€˜brew with a view, at this amazing Brewery on the Murray River

There will be live music, amazing food from Fuzion Foodz and of course a couple of cold ones šŸ»

See you there šŸ‘Œ
