Looking ahead to 2027 🖤🤍

With our AGM coming up this Sunday, we’re looking for some new faces to join the Mylor committee for 2027.

There are a number of positions available, most notably President and Secretary, and we’d also love to welcome new General Committee Members.

We’re looking forward to building a strong, well-supported committee for 2027, with plenty of opportunities for our wider Mylor community to get involved along the way.

If you’ve been quietly considering it, or would simply like to know what’s involved, have a chat with us before Sunday. No pressure, no obligation.

A huge congratulations to our U11 Div 3 girls, with Meike Gunn awarded the HNA Best & Fairest and Beatrice Hewton Runner Up. What an incredible achievement to have the top two players in the division both from Mylor.

And alongside them, a very special congratulations to Karlie Bowes who was awarded Hills Netball Association Life Membership.

Karlie has given so much to netball over the years, and particularly to our club. She’s one of those people who is always there, ‘quietly’ doing the work, supporting our players, coaches and committee, and giving her time wherever it’s needed. Mylor is incredibly lucky to have her.

Life Membership is such a fitting recognition of the time, energy and commitment Karlie has given to the game and the netball community.

What a Grand Final from our A2s.

Mylor came out firing and held the lead through the first half, before Uraidla turned things around in the third.

Q1 | 11–7
Q2 | 17–14
Q3 | 23–26
FINAL | 36–37

Down heading into the final quarter, our A2s just kept pushing. The final five minutes were huge, with Mylor clawing their way right back to level the scores and fighting until the very last whistle.

A one-goal Grand Final. Amazing play across the court and an incredible effort from the whole team. 👏🏽🖤🤍✨

What a finish for our U11 Div 3s 🖤🤍

6–6 at full time, sending the game into extra time to battle it out for a winner. Piccadilly eventually took it 9–7, but what a top effort from our team. They fought right to the end and should be incredibly proud of their season.

And a pretty special way to wrap up an incredible season for our U11s… Meike Gunn was awarded the U11 Div 3 Best & Fairest, with teammate Beatrice Hewton Runner-Up! 🌟 SUPER STARS 🌟 First and second in the association for two of our Mylor gals. Pretty special. 🖤🤍

Our U11 Div 3s and A2s have fought their way through finals and are playing for the premiership this Saturday.

Let’s get plenty of black & white on the sidelines, cheering and getting behind them.

Good clubs need good people behind them 🖤🤍

A huge thank you to our 2026 sponsors for getting behind Mylor this season. We’re incredibly lucky to have local businesses who continue to support our little club and community sport in the Hills.

And while we’re saying thank you, a big one to another of our greatest supporters… our Mylor community.

The coaches, umpires, scorers, committee, team managers, parents, grandparents, supporters and everyone who puts their hand up, pitches in, fills a gap or stands court-side each week.

Community sport simply doesn’t happen without volunteers, and we have some bloody good ones.

FINALS THIS WEEKEND ✨

Our U11 Div 3s and A2s both take on Heathfield this Saturday at Uraidla.

We’re incredibly proud to have both teams still fighting it out this deep into finals. A huge effort already, and we’ll be right behind them this weekend.

Summer Netball is back at Mylor! ☀️☀️

We are hosting all Junior grades including Inters this season. As we still only have 3 courts, we are not looking to offer a Senior season this year unfortunately.

If we don’t already have it, send us your email to [email protected] by 2pm tomorrow, Thu 27 Aug to be included in the Registration email.
