Auscycling esports Club series Race 3 Results

Race 3 was an individual time trial through the forests of Mywhoosh's Amazonia.
The course was 17.3km, mostly flat with several short steep wooden bridges to negotiate. Our riders went deep. Jason English was the standout, winning Category 2 and coming third overall. Congratulations Jason. Honorary NHCC member Vladyslav Budonyi of the Ukraine came second in category 5.

The winner of the time trial was Mitchell Stewart of the Balmoral CC who held 5.338wKg, or a cool 411 watts for the 17.3km.

Unfortunately, Scott Coxon and I pushed too hard and suffered the Mywhoosh drone police zap. ouch.

The series has three more races to go - sign up and have some fun on Tuesday evenings.

Round 2 was a 23km slog feast of 2 laps of the Capital Circuit in Switzerland, with points for two sprints, two KOM and finishing honors.

Ok Newcastle Hunter cycling club virtual racers - join the team for Tuesday evenings round 2 of the Auscycling esports club series. Download the mywhoosh game which is free. Create your avatar identity. Join the club via the mywhoosh info page. Open the game and find the event at 7:30pm 16/06/206. Join the category that best suits your current FTP.

This week's race is the Capital circuit in Switzerland - an 11.9km loop with two sprint segments and a KOM. There is a steady climb up a rough Australian looking road followed by a gradual descent back into town. It will be hard on the pedals with no respite. The number of laps depends on your race category.
