Lakers are proud to announce the Nominees for the 2026 Coach of the year

This award celebrates the people who give so much of their time, energy and passion to our junior players.

You do far more than teach basketball. You teach our kids about teamwork, commitment, resilience, respect and to believe in themselves.

You give up countless hours behind the scenes — planning, training, coaching games, encouraging players, solving problems and helping our young athletes grow.

Our club is stronger because of the coaches who dedicate themselves to our kids.

To every single one of our Lakers coaches — thank you for everything you do, for every player you inspire, and for helping build the future of our club.

We wish we could nominate you all !!!

🏀 GRAND FINALS WEEK IS HERE! 🏀

What a season it has been for Lakers Basketball! ❤️

After months of training, competing, learning and growing together, 21 of our Lakers teams have earned their place in a Grand Final. That is something every player, coach, manager, volunteer and family should be incredibly proud of.

For our Grand Final teams, this is your moment. Step onto the court, play for each other, trust your teammates and enjoy every second of the opportunity you’ve worked so hard to create.

The result will take care of itself — what matters is giving everything you have, staying together and walking off the court knowing you left nothing behind.

To our players: believe in yourselves.
To our coaches: lead them with pride.
To our families and supporters: make some noise!

If you’re able to get to the games this week, wear your Lakers red, bring your loudest voices and get behind our teams. A packed sideline, familiar faces in the crowd and a whole club cheering together can make these moments even more special.

Whether this is your first Grand Final or you’ve been here before, soak it all in — these are the memories our players will carry with them.

🔴 GOOD LUCK TO EVERY LAKERS TEAM TAKING THE COURT THIS WEEK!

Play hard. Stay together. Enjoy the moment.

❤️ LET’S GO LAKERS! 🏀
