Ladies, it’s your last chance to sign up to our women’s introductory class THIS SATURDAY ⚔️💅💪

Try your hand at SWORDFIGHTING with a ladies only introductory sword fighting class. These classes offer an opportunity to learn a martial art in a women’s only environment with a great instructor to participant ratio. After 1.5hrs you will be familiar with holding a sword, so you can decide if you’re keen to join our co-ed sessions.

Our next sessions are Saturday:
⚔️ 25 July - Ladies who Longsword
⚔️ 29 August - Sisters who Sabre
⚔️ 26 September - Ladies who Longsword

⏰ Time: 1pm-2:30pm

💵 Cost: $50 per session which will include a loan sword and mask

2026 has been a huge year for Ursa Major, and we haven't stopped yet! In July we are launching a new timetable and several new classes, bringing you HEMA every day of the week.

Our website will be updated next month, but for now here's a sneak peak at what our schedule will look like from July 1. Get excited Perth, now you can get your hit of swords (and get hit by swords) 7 days a week. Watch this space, more to come.

Our training sessions are cancelled this weekend and next as we take a break from our regular programming to host a weekend long workshop this weekend, and our annual tournament War in the West next weekend. Our weekday training sessions are unaffected.

If you want to see the action up close, feel free to join us as a spectator for War in the West - 29-31 May. First bouts from ~0830 each day.
