What a fantastic morning we had yesterday celebrating Reconciliation Week on campus! Despite the wet weather, students and staff showed up in great spirits to connect, yarn and enjoy some incredible bush-inspired treats.
Dave and Sam were a hit with the frying pan, serving up delicious johnny cakes topped with Davidson plum jam, finger lime marmalade and golden syrup. Paired with lemon myrtle tea and refreshing bush cordials like wild rosella and finger lime, it made for the perfect morning tea.
A huge shout out to Gabby and Jasmine for their amazing help - events like this shine because of people like you.
It was a beautiful reminder of the power of coming together, sharing stories and celebrating culture.

On ANZAC Day tomorrow, we remember the sacrifice and contribution of those who have served and who continue to serve our country.

TAFE NSW campuses will be closed on Monday 27 April and will reopen on Tuesday 28 April.

As ANZAC Day approaches, it's important to note that veterans and their families across NSW and SA 🎖️ can access free public transport on the day.

In NSW, Veterans can present their Australian Defence Uniform, display their service medals, or carry a letter of accreditation on the letterhead of a recognised ex-services organisation, such as the RSL, to enjoy free travel on ANZAC Day.

Similarly, SA veterans can also wear their uniform, service medals, or carry a veteran ID card, to receive free travel on ANZAC Day.

Immediate family members of veterans in may also travel on public transport for free all day on ANZAC Day. Please remember to bring the necessary identification or proof of service with you.

Please note that buses in NSW will operate on a Sunday timetable on ANZAC Day and Monday, 27 April (public holiday observed). Buses in SA will operate on a Saturday timetable on ANZAC Day 📆.
