Big rugby, big fun, one club. Respect the game. A family and fun-orientated club for everyone of all ages and abilities.

In 1974 Rugby was born in Port Macquarie by this club. 19 x 1st Grade Men and Women Premierships later, we have a team for everyone; girls, boys and all abilities from 6 years old to Golden Oldies. We focus on sharing the love of rugby union, developing our players and building the club to be a better version of itself each year. We have teams from Under 6 all the way through to Golden Oldies. $ have been secured from the NSW Rugby World Cup Legacy Grant Program and our beloved main field is getting some love: Field drainage! πŸ«—

The subsurface drainage improvements will deliver massive clear benefits, including:

βœ… Reduced wet-weather cancellations and improved reliability for fixtures and training. More rugby and less ''Ahhhh no, not again!"
βœ… Increased usable field capacity, supporting junior and senior programming across the season
βœ… Improved ability to plan and grow participation, including women and girls and junior development
βœ… Improved safety and surface condition, reducing boggy and unsafe areas for contact sport
βœ… Better overall rugby experiences for participants, volunteers and spectators.

πŸ‘A massive thanks to the Port Macquarie Hastings Council for securing our piece of the pie from the NSW Rugby World Cup Legacy Grant Program.

Now, about that new clubhouse.....πŸ₯Ή

Emily Currey. Since U16s, Emily has been playing abroad in Canada for 2 years for Castaway Wanderers. She’s wrapping things up by playing in the British Colombia Provincial Championship this weekend which is playing at the highest level… just below the Canadians women’s national team. Emily will be returning home at the end of the year and coming back to us! How good!

🌧 Stuart Park is more water than grass right now so tomorrow's Round 5 matches will be postponed, along with the Ladies Day festivities.

But worry not, we're working behind the scenes to confirm a new proposed date to play this round and hold Ladies Day!
