Finally got time to knock over a couple of parts of the duchess

Matt's Model Engineering provides welding/fabrication/fitting and machining services to Quirindi and surrounding area.
Workshop is equipped with lathes, milling machines, shaper, plate rolls, pan break, MIG/TIG/Stick welders. With experience in repairs as well as new fabrications most things are possible. Mild to stainless steel, aluminium and even cast iron are not a problem as we have the experience to build or repair whatever you bring.

Took a bit of modification but the kit brit now runs. Still needs a bit of adjustment but its pretty close

Couldn't find a small hammer i was happy with. So. Knocked this one up between jobs.
I'm considering putting something thing like this on the web store if there is enough interest

Another success. Air leak in the water valve and a rusted ball in the check valve. Couple that with new piston rings and this little guy is ready to go

After fixing multiple air leaks, remaking 2 pipes, reworking the check valve and replaceing the injector. The water feed is now working.

Something a bit different. Just finished this electric conversion on the 42 class. Big thanks to mini train systems for the kit made it an absolute breeze to do.
