💎 Week on the Diamond 💎

🌧️ A rain-affected weekend meant all Sunday games were washed out, but there were still plenty of highlights around the club.

✅ Senior Men had a couple of milestones this week, hosting their first home game of the season and taking part in their first Tuesday night game.

✅ Women's Premier Team played their third straight home game - with Isabeau Hart and Olivia Garcia sharing pitching duties against a strong Footscray team.

💙 One of the club highlights of the week came at Little League Minors training, with four experienced coaches, Iain, Travis, Nick S and Nick W, joined by senior players Leo Stilwell, Leo Wells and Hunter Richardson, all working together to support our juniors.

Seeing so many of our club members invest their time, knowledge and experience into the next generation was a fantastic example of what being One Club is all about. Your contribution means a lot to our young players and their families. 🙏

🏆 That support paid off, with LL Minors Gold recording the club's only win of the round and their first victory under coach Travis Lowe.

💛 "They were all superstars, from the smallest to the tallest. It is a joy to be their coach. Thank you to the parents for allowing me the opportunity to coach your children and for your support at training and on game day." — Travis Lowe

⭐ Congratulations to Aiden Jeffree on being named SSV 12&U Softball Captain. A fantastic achievement and a well-deserved recognition of your leadership.

💙 Finally, thank you to everyone who helped around the club this week. From ground set-up and pack-down to canteen shifts and behind-the-scenes support, your efforts are truly appreciated.

Next week at home ➡️ Premier One, Premier Reserves, State One and State Two.

There are NO JUNIOR games this weekend, so it's the perfect opportunity to get down to the club and support our senior teams. ⚾💙

💙 Walking the Talk.

When your Head Club Coach puts his hand up to umpire Little League Majors, he’s showing that developing our juniors is everyone’s responsibility, at every level of our club.

Thanks, Peter Giles, for the patience, guidance and encouragement you showed to the players, coaches and families - of both teams on the diamond today.

The feedback from the visiting club says it all — praising the high standard you set, your clear communication and the way you engaged with the young players.

🙌 Today Junior Baseball was the clear winner.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have people across our club who go above and beyond for our juniors. This is what being a Royal is all about. 💙

One Club. One Community. Once a Royal, always a Royal.
