🏃‍♀️💙 WHAT A FANTASTIC SEASON! 💙🏃‍♂️
As another athletics season comes to an end, we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has helped make it such a wonderful one!
To all of our amazing athletes – congratulations on everything you have achieved this season. Whether it was a PB, learning a new event, giving something a go for the first time or simply turning up each week and having fun, we are so proud of you! 🏅
A massive thank you also to our families, coaches, volunteers and community members. Our club simply couldn't run without the people who give their time, lend a hand, cheer from the sidelines and support our athletes week after week. 💙

But we're not quite finished yet… it's time to celebrate! 🎉

Sunday, 18th October
🏆 Presentations begin 10:00am SHARP – please arrive beforehand so no athlete misses receiving their award or certificate on stage.

💦 Water Slide
🌭 FREE sausage sizzle + 1 can of soft drink per person
🥤 Canteen open with extra food and drinks available to purchase
Come along, have some fun and help us celebrate another fantastic season together!

📢 LOST PROPERTY – IS THIS YOURS? 👀

Our lost property pile at Sarina & District Athletics Club is growing! We currently have quite a collection of belongings waiting to find their way home. 💙

👕 Jumpers
🧢 Hats & caps
👟 Shoes
🥤 Water bottles
☂️ Umbrella
🕶️ Sunglasses
…and plenty of other bits and pieces!

Please have a good look at the photo and see if you recognise anything that belongs to you or your athlete.

👉 If you spot something that’s yours, please see one of our committee members at Athletics to collect it.

We’d love to reunite everything with its owners before the end of the season. Any items that remain unclaimed will be donated.

Please tag or share with other Athletics families so we can get as much of it claimed as possible! 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🏃‍♀️💙 SARINA ATHLETICS CLUB BREAK-UP DAY 💙🏃‍♂️

It’s time to celebrate another fantastic athletics season! 🎉

📅 Sunday, 18th October
🏆 Presentations begin at 10:00am SHARP

Please make sure you arrive before 10am so your child is ready for presentations. We’d hate for any of our athletes to miss their special moment of being called up on stage to receive their award or certificate. 💙🤍

After presentations, it’s time for some FUN! 🎉 We’ll have a jumping castle and water slide for the kids to enjoy, so don’t forget swimmers, a towel, hat and sunscreen! 💦🏰

🌭 Lunch is on us!
Sarina Athletics Club will be shouting everyone a FREE sausage sizzle + 1 can of soft drink per person.

Our canteen will also be open, with extra food and drinks available to purchase from our special Break-Up Day Menu. Keep an eye out for the menu attached to this post. 😋

💙🤍 Come along, celebrate our athletes and finish the season with a great day together!

Eligible Queensland families can now apply for a Play On! Sports Voucher worth up to $200 to help cover your child's sport registration and participation costs. Vouchers are limited, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
