🏃‍♀️ Seymour Running Club AGM 2026 🏃‍♂️

The Seymour Running Club Committee held its 2026 Annual General Meeting last night at the Seymour Club, celebrating another successful year and looking ahead to an exciting future.

We are pleased to announce that Blair Collins has been re-elected as President, with Cooper Lubeck returning as Vice President and Peter Elliot continuing in the role of Treasurer.

During the meeting, Mitch Itter announced he will be stepping down as Secretary after serving as an inaugural member of the committee and the club’s first-ever Secretary since 2024.

Mitch has been an integral part of the Seymour Running Club’s journey, helping guide the club through a period of remarkable growth. Over the past two years, he has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to establish strong governance and administrative processes, supported the delivery of numerous initiatives, and in doing so helped bring back the Seymour Gift.

His dedication, professionalism and passion have played a significant role in shaping the club into what it is today, and we are incredibly grateful for his contribution.

Mitch will remain in the role over the coming weeks to support a smooth handover to our new Secretary, Tim O’Sullivan.

We are excited to welcome Tim to the committee. His enthusiasm, commitment and fresh ideas will be a valuable addition as we continue to grow and strengthen the club.

Thank you, Mitch, for everything you have done for the Seymour Running Club. Your hard work and commitment have left a lasting legacy, and your contribution will be felt for many years to come.

• Presentation of the Annual Report and Financial Statements
• All committee positions declared vacant
• Nominations for committee positions
• Determination of membership fees for the 2026–27 financial year

The Seymour Running Club Committee reconvened during the week for its first meeting post the 2025 Seymour Club Gift 🏃

At the meeting, Stephen Garner announced he was standing down from the committee.

Steve has been an incredible asset as an inaugural member of the committee.

He’s supported our sponsorship operations, got his hands dirty with plenty of work around the Gift, represented us as our Kings Park Committee of Management rep and manned the gate on Gift days.

Thank you Steve for your incredible contribution to the Seymour Running Club and we look forward to seeing you around at many more Gifts in the future.

Can we give a massive shoutout and huge thanks to Patty Sporle from PS Dezign in Nagambie.

Patty’s extraordinary design skills in so many areas of our Seymour Gift has been nothing short of incredible.

Patty designed promotional campaigns for our sponsors, she made sure they were well represented and carefully curated for each individual business.

Patty spent countless hours on promos, posters, social media and signage. She designed cards, flyers, booklets and banners like the one that was hung with pride at this year’s entrance to the Seymour gift.

Thank you Patty, your endless hours of work with zero pay did not go unnoticed or under appreciated. The whole region and beyond got to appreciate your work and we are both grateful and lucky to have you.
