Powderfinger coming to Melbourne?
Great.
Therry with another new signing?
EVEN BETTER.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Luke Pignolet who joins us from Strathmore.

Luke is Strathmore born and bred having played there his entire life including a senior career that spanned 10 years. Luke comes across as a versatile forward and who has proven himself at the highest of levels including time with Coburg in the VFL as a train on.

We’re excited to see the leadership and competitive edge he will bring to our group in 2027.

We welcome Luke and his family to the club!

Therry Penola AFC is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Bye as our Reserves coach for 2027.

Chris needs little introduction as a stalwart of our great club and is the perfect fit to develop our reserves group.

We are also thrilled to announce the appointment of Jarrod Egglestone as Chris’ right hand man and will operate as a playing assistant.

We’re excited for what 2027 has in store for our Reserves and can’t wait to get started in November.

The curtains on 2026 were closed last night as we celebrated the fantastic individual seasons of Patrick Carracher & Aidan Birch who both won their respective competition goal kicking.

Big PC booted 72 goals from his 17 Games whilst Birchy bagged 43 from 10 games.

We’re super excited to see what both boys will bring in 2027!

We are excited to welcome Frank Gallo who has joined us from Coburg Districts. Frank was a member of Paul’s U18 premiership side in 2023 and has ties to the club as a Collegian of Penola.

Frank comes across off the back of 2 frustrating years through injury and hardship although has hit the ground running looking to make a serious impact to our squad. As a pressure small forward who thrives off the contest, Frank will thrive in our environment with the brand we want to play.

We welcome Frank & his family to our club.

It’s been a great week so why not have one more for your Friday evening.

We are thrilled to welcome Chad Middleton who has joined us from Coburg Districts. Chad was a member of Paul’s U18 premiership side in 2023.

Chad brings versatility as a key position player having played across all 3 lines. His teammates describe him as the first guy you want to follow you into battle and that’s exactly what we’re building this summer at the den.

We welcome Chad & his family to our club.

RICKY BANNISTER MEDALIST RETURNS HOME!

We are thrilled to announce the return of Jacob Gough back to the Den after a 4 year stint with Macedon in the RDFNL.

Goughy needs no introduction to the Therry Faithful returning as a previous Ricky Bannister Medalist along with BIG V Honours and multiple team of the year nominations.
