What an incredible weekend at two ANKC Backpacking events hosted by Poodle Club of South Australia Inc and The Pointer Club of South Australia Inc. — and even more special because these were the first ANKC Backpacking events ever held in South Australia! 🥾🐾
Bringing these events to life took an enormous amount of dedication, planning, and teamwork, and we're so grateful to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make them happen. It was fantastic to see such a successful start for the sport in SA.
On Saturday, Tikanni and Raya hit the trails, and on Sunday it was Torben's turn.

The highlight of the weekend was seeing both Tikanni and Torben achieve their Working Novice Pack Dog (WNPD) titles! 🏅
Even more exciting, almost every competing dog in our kennel now holds their WNPD title. We couldn't be prouder of what our dogs have achieved and the commitment they've shown every step of the way.
Congratulations to everyone who competed, and a heartfelt thank you to the organisers, volunteers, judges, and supporters who helped make this milestone weekend such a success. Here's to many more backpacking events in South Australia! 🐕⛰️

Another great weekend of racing for the team.

After the success of splitting the boys and girls while Kitty was on heat at AMCV, Kyle decided to keep that set up for the SASDC Trophy race.

Both came home with a respectable 3rd place, as well as First Siberian team.

We are very excited to announce that both Kitty and Torben now have their Working Team Dog titles! 🎉
After Gunnar and Tikanni these two are the third and fourth dogs in SA to achieve the titles and it is a testament to their working ability, which is so important to us.
A huge congratulations to their breeders on producing such wonderful dogs, who do their jobs effortlessly.

On the 13-14th of June Kyle made the trip to Kowen forest for the The Siberian Husky Club of NSW 30th Anniversary Shield race. He ran in the four dog class with Gunnar and Tikanni in lead and Torben and Raya in wheel.
Unfortunately temps weren’t on our side and the Sunday heat had to be cancelled. We appreciate the club making this decision for the safety of all teams.
Despite the temperature issues Kyle and the kids came away with first place 🥇

Thank you to the club for putting on an amazing race, and thank you as always to our handlers.
Kyle is now on the 2 dog, 3 dog and 4 dog perpetual trophies with the club and we are beyond proud of that achievement 💫
