🙌🏼 Term 3 Classes for Kids start this coming Tuesday on 21st July! 🙌🏼

We're pumped to get back into the studio and dance!

Reminder there are no classes this Monday 20th July.

Introducing... LAUREN to our DD team! ⭐

Lauren is our newest addition and we are already so excited to what she'll bring! She is super talented and has an extensive drama and performance studies background in the Creative Arts, including currently a singing instructor, has had experience teaching at SDC, Dance Central, Dance director in New York at Dance Club International and more! She has also been in 20+ musical theatre performances! 😍Lauren is trained in Latin American which officially includes five dances - Samba, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive and Paso Doble.

Lauren will be teaching an Adults Level 1 Latin Class on Fridays 12:30 - 1:30pm.

The first 5 week mini-course beginning on Friday 24th July will be focussed on 2 styles - Salsa and Samba! You'll learn the basics but also progress each week!

Salsa has Afro-Cuban and Carribean roots. It is a popular style to dance socially and is sometimes referred to as Street Latin style. Lots of hip movement and turns. Probably one of the easier dances to pick up for a beginner with lots of room to add your own flare!

Samba originated in Brazil. The rhythm is lively and festive. It is bouncy and feels like a celebration!

Whether your learning something for fun or wanting to do something new with a partner, come along!

Each day ends with a mini show and tell at 4pm! Our workshoppers get to choose a costume from our amazing costume alley, and parents / caregivers get to watch our little superstars perform their creations at the studio.

Enrolments are open, and you can choose from 1, 2 or 3 days!

This Years Dance Video Project for our Grade 5+ students will be on Sunday the 28th of June!!

We can't wait to see what our Grade 5-12 students have been working on this term 🤩

Thank you to all who donated a gold coin during our Pyjama Week!! We ended up raising a total of $279 for the Liptember Foundation 🎉

The Liptember foundation support women's mental health through funding education programs, advocacy & awareness campaigns and gender-specific research.

We hope you all enjoyed Pyjama week as much as we did 😊
