Were ending our 2026 season by painting the track pink for breast cancer 🏁🎀

Getting ready for Yaamba in 3 weeks 🤣

We got home from racing yesterday and we got stuck straight into it. All the mower washed and ready for repairs.

We removed the rear wheel from NQ934 and found the problem. Help from RollOut Customs and some new gearing and collars have been ordered.

Trip #1 to Supercheap Auto Thuringowa for a new battery for NQ333 and a bigger gear puller tool. We pulled the wheel off NQ274 and put the puller on to get the hub off. The keyway had fallen out and had metal shard everywhere!

Once the hub was off you could see the damage to the axle and inside the hub. A flap wheel was used to smooth the axle and trip #2 to Supercheap Auto for a half moon file.

Once all the burs were removed the hub slid back on easily, new key ways was cut and fitted. Whe then realised when attempting to remove the hub at the track a wheel stud came off, and no longer stayed in place. Trip #3 to Supercheap Auto for new wheel studs.

Finally the wheels back on, quick run down the street and she turns beautifully.

Next up is new tyres for NQ333.

Weekend done ✅️ Ragnar racing family have just got home.

NQ274 - we arrived at the track Friday with what I thought would be a quick fix before race day. Unfortunately when we removed the rear wheel we noticed the keyway had come out and the hub locked in down the axle. We tried to run it however with a non locked wheel hub we couldn't turn, and retired after race 2.

NQ934 - Was powering along the track, and got 2 firsts!! Unfortunately the chain came off in race 3, and after a check by RollOut Customs and RPrice Mechanical we found the chain shafts had shifted after loosing the wheel last race meet.

NQ333 - worried at the start of the race day, battery that kept needing to be jumped and a front wheel that kept going down between races. Xerb4n kept at it, and with the help around her came home with a 2nd in D Grade! Well done to Rollout Customs taking 3rd!

The new Motorsport Trailers towed beautifully, she was fully loaded with mowers and camping gear and did awesome!

Three week turn around before we head to Yaamba for CQ Mower Racing Club race meet.

Massive thankyou to Shane at The Subaru Doctor Townsville 🏁 The hub for NQ934 Black Widow is back together. Pretty sure those welds aren't going anywhere, and the wheel won't be falling off again!

We got some stickers and merch from Phoenix GTS & Medusa - Burnout Cars - Mythic Burnouts 🏁 father and daughter burnout cars, same values as what we do with our mower racing.

How bright is this green hat! Love it 🏁 thankyou Medusa. Stickers placed proudly in our Motorsport Trailers door.

We need more Ragnar stickers I think 🤔
