Toothless - Burnout Car

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE!
Long post but worth the read-

This is the most important key in owning any modified vehicle,

Holy did we dodge a bullet because we always stick to a routine maintenance schedule per comp etc that includes engine oil, filter every comp, good look overs for the obvious shake and rattle items, check bolts that shake loose from vibration as yes even bellhousing bolts shake loose!

And every 2-3 comps we drop the trans oil

Now this time we found some build up on the drain plug usual stuff and the oil was like brand new!
But thought because its had a rough dozen comps of full foot torture we'd better drop the pan to check for any material that didn't get to the magnet plug.

All ill say is it doesn't matter how well the oil looks and smells- and keeping in mind it had 0 issues- doesn't mean something isn't hiding!! so so so glad i dropped the pan that day! Pictures below show a th350 sprag that absolutely ate itself and the drum! And could have turned into a full trans failure if we hadn't of dropped the pan 😬 thankfully because of our checks and our amazing sponsor, Brinks Performance, for helping us at short notice, we were able to clean it up, get a new sprag and put it all back together in time for nq burnouts round 2 this weekend! 🙏💨💨💨

Huge congratulations to everyone who attended Northern Nats Tropical Meltdown. Unfortunately we had to miss this year due to attending our best mates bucks party. We will not be missing the next one for sure.

Huge congratulations to my wife Evelyn Photographics for being accepted to be Media at Northern Nats. She's fought hard for a few years to be part of that team and one of her bucket list pads was Springmount, and she did it. Super proud of her.

Thank you to everyone who helped my wife with her car troubles on the way to Springmount. Its really appreciated and wont go unnoticed.

Toothless is ready for Nq Burnouts Round 2 in a few weeks time. Cant wait!

The first Open Class entrant is locked in for Tigo's Towing presents NQ Burnouts Round 2 2026!

Welcome back Shayno Collyer and TOOTHLESS!

After taking out the Open Class win at our last event, Shayno returns with one goal—to defend the title and put on another smoke-filled show for the crowd!

NQ Burnouts Round 2 at the Cairns International Speedway 15th of August!

Come on down for an afternoon and night full of skids and entertainment.

Whether you're entering the competition, attending as a spectator, or bringing the family along for an evening of entertainment, there's something to suit all ages and interests.

The Canteen with be full of delicious food and the bar will stocked. (ID required for the bar)
Jumping Castle and Face Painting for all the kids from 5.00pm-8.00pm

What can i say apart from WOW! What an epic event! saturday seen us back at NQ Burnouts for round 1 what we thought may never be again was made possible thanks to the amazing people that worked tirelessly to make it happen for us all again! Special thank you to Helen Robson Steve Robson Tigo's Towing Chloé Goodyear Aaron Chalkley and all the volunteers judges and crew for all the hard work behind the scenes 🙏🙏

First skid of the night went great with the car running amazing with the new bigger battery setup

Now the 2nd skid of the night where do i even start!
We had the absolute pleasure of being asked to honour the life of a very special young lady Kimberley who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away 😞 so we strapped on a set of her favourite coloured tyres and strapped Kimberly's partner Ryder into the car and absolutely smashed the pad to honour her amazing life lost so young 💙

Thank you so much to all the media crew that captured this amazing moment for the family and friends 🙏🙏💙 and thank you so much to Stockas burnouts crew for the hospitality as always❤️❤️

Massive congratulations to all the place getters and award winners 🙏🙏

With that done our 3rd skid was party mode with a mate that hasn't been in since the og motor that we lost in 2025, sending off our last set for the night without a hitch and driving back in the trailer as always ready for the next event 👌👌
