👏 Congratulations to Dei Matthews, who recorded an incredible 6th Hole In One! What an amazing achievement!

👏 And congratulations to Justin Wright, who also aced Hole 15 on the very same day! An outstanding shot and a moment to remember!

Two members make a Hole In One on the same hole during the same event is something pretty special — what a day for both Dei and Justin!

🏌️‍♀️ Wendy O'Keefe Singles Matchplay Final 🏆

Congratulations to Jacinta Foley, who claimed the 2026 Wendy O'Keefe Singles Matchplay title after a thrilling final against Terrianna Omeli.

The match was a fantastic display of skill, determination and sportsmanship, with neither player ever more than 2 up throughout the round. It went all the way to the 20th hole, where Jacinta secured victory by 1 shot.

A special mention to Terrianna Omeli, one of Townsville Golf Club's talented junior golfers who is one to watch. The match was pushed beyond 18 holes with some exceptional golf, producing incredible shots and putts under pressure. The future is certainly bright for this rising young player.

Congratulations to Jacinta Foley on becoming the 2026 Wendy O'Keefe Singles Matchplay Champion, and well done to both finalists for a memorable contest played in the true spirit of golf. 👏
