MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER | MATTHEW DYER

Congratulations to Matthew Dyer, our 2026 Most Outstanding Player. 💙

Every time you watch Matt play, one thing stands out - the amount of work he gets through.

He is an incredibly tough player who puts his body on the line, does the hard work and continually finds a way to make an impact for his team.

His performances this season have earned him selection for the Townsville Brolgas, North Queensland and Queensland Country Heelers - a fantastic reward for the work he continues to put into his rugby.

But what makes this award even more deserving is Matt’s contribution away from the field. He is always around supporting our Juniors, regularly works behind the bar at home games and never hesitates to put his hand up when the club needs help.

An outstanding player and an outstanding club person.

Congratulations, Matt - a very deserving 2026 Most Outstanding Player.

SUPPORTER OF THE YEAR | LISA LASKEY

You’ll often hear her before you see her - and when you do spot her, there’s a pretty good chance she’ll be wearing that bright yellow bucket hat. 💛

Congratulations to Lisa Laskey, our 2026 Supporter of the Year.

Lisa is there week after week, supporting our Juniors and Seniors, cheering on our teams and always willing to lend a hand.

Whether it’s helping in the canteen, picking up orders, assisting wherever she is needed or even bringing birthday cakes along to Women’s training, Lisa’s support of Brothers goes well beyond the sidelines.

For her enthusiasm, generosity and unwavering commitment to our club, Lisa is an incredibly deserving recipient.

Congratulations Lisa, and thank you for everything you do for Brothers. 💙

CONNOR MORGAN MOST POTENTIAL PLAYER | BELLA CANNING

Congratulations to Bella Canning, recipient of the 2026 Connor Morgan Most Potential Player Award. 💙

Named in honour of Connor Morgan, this special award recognises a player who has shown enormous potential and an exciting future in the game.

At just 17, Bella continues to go from strength to strength. After earning selection in the Under 18 Emerging Reds Academy, she was recently selected in Rugby Australia’s inaugural NextGen XVs Under 19 program.

Bella’s commitment, determination and hard work continue to open doors, and we have absolutely loved watching her develop, take on new challenges and push herself to the next level.

We are incredibly proud to have Bella representing Brothers and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Congratulations, Bella. 💙

CLUB PERSON OF THE YEAR | LUKE EASTLAKE

Congratulations to Luke Eastlake, our 2026 Club Person of the Year. 💙

Luke is one of those people every club needs - always willing to put his hand up, no matter what the job is.

From fixing electrical issues and working behind the bar, to washing jerseys week after week and coaching our Juniors, Luke gives an incredible amount of his time and energy to Brothers.

He doesn’t do it for recognition. He does it because he loves the club and understands that clubs like ours are built by people willing to give back.

A very deserving recipient. Congratulations Luke, and thank you for everything you do for Brothers.
